Shell Shocked

Sat Jun 6, 2009, 8:23 PM
Oh my god. Today seemed like a normal Saturday in the Wolfess10 household. I got woken up earlier than the first day of summer vacation should allow, ate breakfast, attempted to clean up the basement, and eventually moved towards tackling my bedroom. First shock came when a large spider ran across my bed when I put the clean comforter on. I've been super skittish and jumpy since then, if you could imagine. I searched under my bed to no avail. Now, I have to take all my clean, nicely placed sheets off and fold them, to make sure that the spider did not slip in my bed. You can guess how much I'm enjoy the prospect of that. Guess I'm just procrastinating, oh well.

My second shock came in the mail today. Since 8th grade I've been getting things from colleges, because I took the early ACT test. Naturally, I'm used to receiving mass amounts of college letters and postcards ranging from campus visits to summer programs. On the top of my list have been University of Pennsylvania, Cornell, and Harvard. Yesterday, I was pleasantly surprised when information regarding financial aid from Cornell arrived. Today, the only word to describe my reaction is stunned. Harvard sent me a full application, colored pamphlet, and a 3 page letter explaining their financial aid programs. What am I supposed to do? Any ideas? I am so speechless and overwhelmed. They are handing me a chance on a silver platter, and I want to grab it so badly.

~Hmm... I love dogs, wolves, horses, and orcas above all other animals.
~I read too many books/manga and reject a lot of anime, criticizing the differences between anime and manga
~RPGs are the best games ever
~Musicals are amazing and I love them
~Music is, more or less, a major force in my life
~I play the flute and plan on learning the violin and piano when time allows
~I listen to almost anything
~Fantasy book, manga, and even anime recommendations are greatly welcomed (especially any good werewolf books, so many vamp books, but very few good werewolf)
~I love to create things, although most is through conjecture in my mind
~I'm a sucker for an amazing protagonist, but, more likely than not, will go to one of the random side characters

Boo! I tagged you a while back. Not sure if you noticed. How are you?
:iconlisatelramor:
How are you? Sorry about the phone call. I don't know it's ringing unless it is really close cuz I keep it on vibrate.
:iconwolfess10:
I'm good. It rained during our whole tour and when we tried to find the music building! I got soo wet and was sooo cold. Yeah. It was a bit miserable.

How are you? How did you roommate like Cedar Point?
:iconlisatelramor:
Did you like what you saw tho?
Pretty good. Tired. And still homework overload. Yeah, she loved it. :) She was really excited when she got back at one.
:iconwolfess10:
Oh my god. At least she had sunday to rest. Yeah, I did like it, but there aren't as many majors in the fields of study that I want to go into, which be-eth the only problem.

I understand. Mr. Gray decided to do stuffs while I was gone. >.> It's amusing, though. Do you remember those white shells we saw at the end of last year during physics (when we did those ridiculous labs)?
:iconlisatelramor:
I remember the ridiculous labs, but not the white shells. What were they for?
